Tiszadorogma lies on the bank of the River Tisza, a few kilometres up from the northern tip of Lake Tisza. The village is surrounded by the wonderful aquatic environment of the Tisza with numberless backwaters, flood plain forests, nature conservation areas with unique fauna (Göbe Forest), and the romantic windings of the River Tisza. The entrance to Lake Tisza can be reached in 30 minutes by water. Here lies the Bird Sanctuary of the Valki Basin, a significant part of which is accessible by paddle or electric boats. The dike of the Tisza offers an excellent cycling facility (we can provide bicycles); and along side the River Tisza, and on its side waters magical water touring can be enjoyed with our motor boats.
